Guide by Foresight

With the rapid pace of change and societal advancement, the need for developing and leveraging foresight is greater than ever. A future-minded plan is critical to anticipate and expose potential issues and opportunities, and offer solutions before problems arise.

Inspire Civic Action

Many Americans have a sense that what they do as individuals cannot affect change when it comes to the civic life and health of their communities or the country. We need to trigger a paradigm shift back to civic engagement and lead by example.

Harness The Magic

When magic is born out of the perfect combination of environment, culture and opportunity, you have to work to harness it, nurture it and ensure it is continually kindled for future generations. To achieve and nurture the magic in Collin County, we have to always be striving to be better and relentlessly pursue excellence.

The County

Collin County has transitioned from a booming suburb into one of the healthiest and most diverse regional economies in the United States. Today, we are home to more than 1.25 million residents and a workforce of over 665,000 professionals employed across 18,000 business establishments. Our regional GDP is on a trajectory to rival that of entire U.S. states by 2050, solidifying our role as a global destination for capital and innovation.

Our corporate landscape is anchored by a "Who’s Who" of global industry, including the global headquarters of AT&T, Toyota North America, Keurig Dr Pepper, and the PGA of America, alongside major operations for JPMorgan Chase, Liberty Mutual, Raytheon, and Texas Instruments. This fertile ecosystem is supported by a robust network of 17 Economic Development Corporations and 16 Chambers of Commerce, working in a collective "countywide frame of mind" to maintain our status as a premier place to live and do business.

As we look forward, our connectivity continues to evolve through the expansion of the 55-mile Collin County Outer Loop and the emergence of McKinney National Airport as a commercial aviation hub. With a projected population of 2.4 million by 2060, Collin County is not just growing; we are defining the future of the American workforce.
